Kenya eTA information

Responding to a Kenya eTA document request

A request for more information is a request—not an approval, refusal or guarantee. Confirm who sent it, read the exact instruction and respond through the correct secure channel.

Confirm the request is genuine

Check the authenticated service or official contact details before opening links or uploading documents. KenyaEntry will not ask you to send passport files or card details through an ordinary unsolicited email.

Answer the request that was made

Prepare a clear, complete file and make sure its names, dates and journey details are consistent with the current application. Do not add altered evidence or unrelated sensitive material.

Keep service and government requests distinct

A KenyaEntry preparation request belongs to KenyaEntry's assistance workflow. An official request belongs to the government process. KenyaEntry does not turn its own review into an official government decision or status.
