Kenya eTA information

Flight itinerary and onward travel for a Kenya eTA

The official tourism application asks for arrival and departure itinerary information. Official arrival guidance also says travellers may be asked for return or onward travel evidence.

Prepare the journey you actually intend to take

Keep the carrier, route and planned arrival and departure details available. Dates and names should agree with your passport, accommodation and the information entered in the application.

Understand application and arrival checks

Information requested in an online application and evidence requested by an immigration officer are related but not identical stages. An approved eTA does not remove the traveller's responsibility to meet arrival requirements.

Avoid unsupported booking assumptions

The live official application is authoritative about what must be supplied for your case. KenyaEntry does not promise that a particular reservation format, refundable booking or proposed itinerary will be accepted by the Government of Kenya.
